Today's word is почему (why). It's very easy to use.

Почему кровь красная? - Why is blood red?
Почему у тебя зелёные волосы? - Why is your hair green?
Ты знаешь, почему они отменили это? - Do you know why they canceled it?
Я не знаю, почему Паша купил такую старую машину. - I don't know why Pasha bought such an old car.
Почему же ты мне не позвонил! - Why didn't you call me!
Не знаю, почему. - I don't know why.
There is also a cute word почемучка, it means a person, usually a child, who asks lots of questions. :)
